Iron County Government
The Iron
County Commission embodies three elected officials.
Two commission seats are elected at the same election;
the other commission seat is elected two years later.
All terms are four years.

Cedar
City Government
Cedar City is governed by a
Mayor/Council form of government. The five Council
Members and the Mayor are elected by Cedar City
residents for four-year staggered terms, with elections
held every two years. Three council member positions are
up for election one year and the other two and the Mayor
are up for election two years later.

The City Council
generally meets every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in the
Council Chambers at 10 North Main Street . The public is
