Rocky Mountain Power Complete Port 15 Utah Substation

Rocky Mountain Power (RMP) has completed an important link in Port 15 Utah’s infrastructure. The new 30 Megawatt Substation is up and RMP is ready to meet manufacturers, commercial and warehousing demands. This station allows Port 15 Utah businesses to connect into a brand new substation that is set up to handle growth. Additional capacity can be added when needed and there is more room to grow.

Rocky Mountain Power has partnered with local government, state government and the Port 15 Utah Authority to organize, plan and develop sufficient infrastructure and improvements to handle the businesses that are moving into Cedar City. By working closely with state and local development organizations, RMP has helped communities enhance their economic vitality. Their development staffed has partnered with agencies to bring additional resources for attracting top companies and high-paying jobs. They also partner with state and local governments to help existing companies expand. It's a job RMP has done well for nearly a century.
